Creatine Side Effects – Information You Must Know Before Taking Creatine

If you are planning on taking creatine or any supplement to augment your workouts it is important that you educate yourself about creatine side effects, both positive and negative. This article will discuss the possible side effects that you may experience when taking this supplement.

The good news is that of the negative effects that may occur they are not serious or life-threatening. Keep in mind that creatine is not an anabolic steroid as it is often confused with. It will not have the same effects as taking steroids. The most common effect is retention of water weight. Creatine acts to draw water into your cells. This can give you a bloated look and feeling, like you ate too much. As you retain water your muscles may appear to be softer than they were before. This is normal and will usually decrease when you finish your cycle of creatine.

Another negative creatine side effect is that when you finish cycling creatine your energy levels may decrease sharply. Your muscle size or mass may appear to get smaller as well. This is because the water retention that the supplement caused is now gone, thus leaving your muscles appearing smaller.

On the positive side one of the main effects of creatine is the increase in energy that many people experience. Many report consistent increases in energy levels throughout the day while cycling with this supplement. This can be useful if you have trouble maintaining your energy levels.

You may also look bigger during the cycling phase. As your body retains more water your muscles will have a fuller appearance. This is a look that most bodybuilders and weightlifters are going for.

Another positive creatine side effect to consider is the increased energy levels you may experience will help you increase the intensity of your workouts. The harder you are able to workout the better the chances that your muscles will respond with increases in growth and strength.

All in all creatine is a safe supplement to take. Creatine side effects are minimal. It is recommended that you consult your physician before taking this or any supplement. If you do experience any negative effects then it is important to stop taking creatine and consult your physician.

Creatine may or may not be for you. Although creatine side effects are few be sure you have the information you need before taking this supplement. If your goal is to get huge and ripped then you need the information available on the next page. Don’t wait, click here now! Creatine Side Effects
