It compensates and fills the void that this turmoil of emotions brings. Once a person relinquishes control over her emotions to these triggers, he or she becomes dependent that relief eating brings. Binge eating becomes the crutch that carries him or her through the day or week.
It’s not an unusual disease. Overeating causes have been around ever since mankind existed. It might have taken other forms or have evolved from plain and simple addiction but it is still affecting millions of people all over the world. The health problems that stem out of this disorder often times lead to long term physical problems and unfortunately, even death.
