20 Minute Workouts For Busy People

One of the most common excuses that people make about working out is that they simply do not have time. The truth is that there are busy people out there that do not have the luxury of being at the gym every day. Believe it or not there is a way to be in and out of the gym in 20 minutes flat so that you can enjoy the rest of your day. When looking for a strength training workout always turn to super-sets because they will help you be in and out of the gym in a short period of time. The same thing goes for cardio, always do interval training if you want a short and effective workout.

The good thing about these workouts is that if you decide to do them back to back then you can cut your time at the gym in half and enjoy your week. If super-sets and intervals take 20 minutes each then you will have a 3 day 40 minute workout. That is about 2 hours of gym time for the week. Always start your workout with super-sets because you want to focus on building lean muscle fast. Super-sets are also a great way to get a total body workout if you pair up exercises the right way. For example, if you do dumbbell squats followed by dumbbell incline chest presses then you are focusing on legs and chest. That right there is a total body workout.

After your 20 minutes of doing super-sets you must do intervals. This is not a rule to follow; it is simply a recommendation so that you will have more down time during the week. You can also choose to do six 20 minute workouts a week instead of three 40 minute workouts. Intervals will target your belly area and carve out a toned flat stomach.

You can save a lot of time by doing intervals and super-sets. They are great for busy people such as students and parents whose priorities are not at the gym. With these workouts you will be fit and stay on schedule.
