Intensify Your Routine For a Firmer Buttocks

Many people complain that in spite of religiously doing their butt exercise routine, they have seen no further improvements. Others may see an initial change when the rate at which their butt’s tone simply drops. This disheartens many and causes them to quit. However, most people quit prematurely when all they have to do is step up their game.

Stepping up the intensity level of your butt exercise is a logical solution to getting the results done.

Here are some ways you can increase the level of your exercise and maintain the rate of your butt development progress. However, it is always a good idea to consult a fitness expert before increasing the intensity of your workout. This way you can get the full benefits with little risk to your health.

Add more repetitions to your sets. Beginners start with 10 to 12 repetitions per set, doing around 3 sets per exercise. You can increase the number of repetitions to 15 even up to 20 depending on your body. Likewise, you can add more sets through out your exercise routine. An alternative is to increase the reps and sets but you can accomplish it through out the day. For example, instead of just doing 3 sets of 12, you can do 2 sets of 12 in the morning and another 2 sets of 12 in the afternoon. Adding more repetitions and sets in your exercise will increase your endurance in whatever activity you are doing. It is a great way to increase the intensity level of your routine.

Another alternative to increasing the intensity is to add resistance to your exercise. Exercises like squats, lunges, back kicks can help tone your butt by themselves. However, once you get used to it, adding extra resistance can be beneficial. You can carry dumbbells, strap on weights carry a medicine ball or use rubber resistance to increase the intensity.

Be conscious of each movement. Properly contracting and following the full range of motion is often forgotten by beginners. Pay attention to each rep and you can instantly see the difference in your exercise.

The rate your butt develops is determined by how you exercise. Don’t be disappointed if you find that your rate of development is getting slower, it’s an indication that what you are doing is working for your butt. The need to increase your level means you are doing something right.
