To lose weight as quickly as your body will allow, you need to do things that promote losing fat efficiently. The following are 7 tips that will allow you to do this.

Exercise in Your Fat Burning Zone

Test on subjects have shown that exercising at a certain heart rate causes your body to use fat as a primary energy source. These rates are 55 to 85 percent your maximum heart rate.

Eat Foods That Stimulate Fat Loss

Certain foods stimulate your body to use more fat to assist in digestion than other foods. These types of foods are complex carbohydrates. The reason that they stimulate more fat loss is because they contain fiber.

Build Muscle

The more muscle mass you have, the more fat you will burn. Since muscle burns more energy than fat, by building more muscle you increase your metabolism. Thus, it is important to do some form of resistance training in order to stimulate and build muscle.

Drink Water

Water is necessary for a well functioning body. It assists in some fashion in every function of your body, including burning fat. Thus, to assist in this process, it is important that you consume at least 8 glasses a day.

Eat Protein

As noted above, muscle is very important when it comes to burning fat. To ensure that it is not used as an energy source during your workout, eat a small meal consisting of carbohydrates 30 minutes to an hour before you start your exercise session.

Eat Protein

It takes muscle to build muscle. To do this you need amino acids, which are the building blocks of muscle. By eating lean meats, you will be able to supply your body with these acids. This will help to grow and repair muscle fibers and, thus, aid in burning fat more efficiently.

Get Sufficient Sleep

Studies have shown that those who do not get enough sleep tend to put on more weight than those who do. Therefore it is important that you get sufficient sleep.

Not only does it help you keep off extra weight, it is also important in helping to repair your body after a strenuous workout.
