Bridal Weight Loss Program – 2 Steps For Effective Weight Loss Before Your Wedding

Every year hundreds of thousands of women search for bridal weight loss programs that will work for them. The first step of any effective bridal weight loss program is goal setting. If we don’t know what we’re attempting to accomplish that we can’t set a clear plan for getting there. The first thing to do is to decide how much weight we would like to lose, keeping in mind that we need to be realistic, we’re often working within a short time frame. We are not trying to go from a size 18 to size 10, however losing 1 to 2 pounds a week is a realistic and attainable goal.

The first component to a good bridal weight loss program is eating right. So start by keeping track of all the food that you eat in any given day and then sit down, go through your food journal and decide what foods need to be eliminated or at least reduced for you to meet your goal. In order to hit that 1 to 2 pounds worth of weight loss per week you need to burn between 500 to 1000 calories more than you consume each day. Controlling your food intake is the first step towards your bridal weight loss program.

The second component is just as important as the first, simply moving more. Every bridal weight loss program needs to have some component that includes exercise. Now before you start thinking about three-hour gym trips and aerobic classes full of women in spandex understand, just taking the time to walk a couple miles after work or getting involved in a church volleyball league will put you one step closer to your goal. Exercise shouldn’t be something that you dread, as a matter-of-fact as a child you probably just called it play. We’ll get back in that mindset and start moving again.

If you start three months prior to your wedding day and lose just a pound a week you can potentially shed 12 pounds prior to that walk down the aisle. If you follow this simple bridal weight loss program, on your wedding day you’ll look better than your husband could have ever imagined. You will also feel more energized and more alive than you have in years.
