New Year’s Resolution – Lose Stubborn Belly Fat Fast

It is always somewhat of a shock to me to realize that another new year is just around the corner. Sometimes it feels as if the years start to pass more quickly as we get older. One day moves into the next and before you know it another year has gone by and we still have that extra twenty or thirty pounds on us that we promised to ourselves we were going to lose.

Don’t let another year go by without reaching your fitness goals. Here are three simple, yet highly effective ways to lose stubborn belly fat fast.

1. Drink More Water – Everyone knows that water is good for them but only a small percentage of people actually drink it in sufficient quantities. In addition to flushing out harmful toxins from your body, water helps to curb hunger pains. Many times it is easy to mistake thirst for hunger. Try drinking one full glass of water about twenty minutes before you eat dinner or lunch. You will be amazed at just how much less you will consume.

2. Change Your Dietary Habits – The first thing you really need to do is go through your cabinets and fridge and get rid of any processed foods. Anything that comes in a box or bags, or is made of white flour or sugar, needs to be tossed out. Replace these items with fresh fruits and vegetables. Additionally, you should try and consume lean meats, such as ground turkey or chicken, instead of other red meats, which are high in saturated fats.

3. Get Off Your Butt – Many people are under the erroneous belief that they do not have enough time to workout on a regular basis. I really find this difficult to belief. I challenge you to create a journal for one week, in which you document the time you spend watching TV, reading a book, or other activities that could easily be replaced with exercise. After one week has passed, commit to spending half the amount of time you spent the prior week on additional activities exercising. You should easily be able to find 5 hours in which to workout each week.

There you have it. Three simple ways to help turbo charge you weight loss efforts. When you take a step back and look a bit closer you will begin to see that you can take charge of you life. You can become whatever it is you desire in life.
