1. Never skip meals; as a matter of fact eat more of them.

Calorie restrictions are counterproductive to fat burning. Eating for fat loss requires stimulating your metabolism and triggering your fat burning system through reducing your carbohydrate levels as you increase protein and good fats and your diet.

Stimulating fat burning hormones is important to the process and is achieved by keeping an even blood sugar level while regulating your liver’s insulin production throughout the day.

Skipping one or two meals a day will cause your body to store calories for emergencies. It automatically registers your lowered blood sugar levels as a red alert. If you just eat one huge sandwich in one day, it will end up straight to your problem area (i.e. highs, buttocks, hips) because your body uses that area for emergency storage.

2. Drink a glass of water immediately upon arising and continue to drink water throughout the day – about one glass per hour. You have just spent 5 to 8 hours without taking in any liquids; you are dehydrated when you awake. Water helps to burn fat from your body and is important to any fat loss diet.

Proper hydration is important to maintaining an efficient fat burning system. Don’t believe the erroneous assumption that drinking too much water will cause it to stay in your system. The human body is almost 70% water, eight glasses a day should be enough to keep you going.

3. Avoid foods like pizza, French fries, breaded fried foods or sugary desserts.

By sticking to small meals and eating them frequently you’ll be able to realize an increase in your metabolic rate it relatively short period of time. Stick to whole protein foods such as eggs, milk, meats, nuts, fish and chicken to help promote healthy fat loss.

4. Don’t forget to eat good fats in order to burn fat.

Mono unsaturated fats are crucial for stimulating your taste buds as well as burning body fat. As counterintuitive as this may seem, fats such as fish oil, avocado and olive oil actually helps in curbing your appetite and aids in stimulating fat loss.

Learn to love naked salads. Keep the heavy dressings away from your salad and choose light flavors and combinations instead. Olive oil and apple cider vinegar can replace many of the more carb laden dressings on the market. Many of these so-called low-fat dressings are filled with sugar.

5. Start a 0 to 60 walking program.

Walking is one of the most inexpensive exercises you can conduct. It is also the perfect starter program for burning fat. There may be more efficient fat burning workouts available but you can’t beat walking for its overall health effects on the body and mind.

Start off slowly and work your way up from 15 minutes to 30 minutes. As you get more comfortable with your rhythmic stride, go all the way to 60 minutes a day. Walking offers many therapeutic rewards.

6. Keep your stress level on an even keel.

Stress plays an important role in maintaining your fat stores. Cortisol is a hormone released by the liver and has a direct influence on belly fat distribution. Keeping your stress levels at me will help to reduce the level of cortisol in your body. This in turn will help you to reduce your fat cells.

These tips should get you burning fat and losing weight in a short time. You’ll find that you’ll begin to experience more energy and see quick results through this method of diet and exercise than all the expensive television products pills and powders.
