What Is The Fastest Way To Burn Off Visceral Fat?

Wanting to know what is the fastest way to burn off visceral fat is probably the most important question when it comes to burning fat. Because of visceral fat’s high correlation with heart disease, stroke, diabetes and hypertension, excess visceral fat is an major concern among health professionals.

First, a little background on visceral fat and fat in general. On your body, there are two types of fat: subcutaneous, which is the fat below your skin and visceral, which is the fat that surrounds your organs.

Between the two, visceral fat has been shown to have a greater correlation with health problems. When metabolized by the liver, cholesterol is produced. Depending of the source of your fat intake, low-density lipoproteins or LDL is produced. This is the bad cholesterol that collects on the arteries to form plaque and narrows the arteries. Not good.

The fats that are the primary culprit are the saturated fats. Before you even consider what is the fastest way to burn off visceral fat, you should eliminate these fats from your diet.

As for eliminating visceral fat from your body, a study of post-menopausal women with type 2 diabetes showed that diet by itself is not enough to burn visceral fat. So if you were considering just eating fat burning foods, then that probably won’t do.

In fact, what the study did show is that it takes diet plus exercise or exercise alone to burn visceral fat. The key component of course being exercise. So from this, it is easy to conclude that the fastest way to burn off visceral fat is by exercising.

As for what type of exercises to perform will depend on you level of fitness. If you are a sedentary person, you should start off by walking at least 6 days a week. And if you can, try to go for at least 30 minute. If you can’t, then do what you can and build up to that time.

For those who are in better shape, biking, jogging, or taking aerobics are better options you can try to burn of visceral fat. The most important thing to remember in any aerobic type exercise is to exercise with enough intensity to get your heart in its fat burning zone.

In short, the fastest way to burn off visceral fat is by exercising, Once you get in the habit, you’ll add years as well as better health to your life.
