Working With Your Body’s Metabolic Rhythm is the Key to Dropping More Weight
If dropping more weight is something you would like to do then you will benefit from learning to work with your body so it is more willing to release excess fat. So often we try to force our body to lose weight and end up in a battle that we rarely win. Your body will go through energy swings during the day. This is a natural thing and there is a natural rhythm that is common to most everyone. For instance, when you get out of bed in the morning your metabolism and energy start to rise and this upward swing continues until mid afternoon when your natural energy level starts to wane.
If you want your body to use the foods you eat more efficiently and avoid fat making as much as possible all you need to do is feed your body according to this natural up and down rhythm, here is how…
The key nutrient we want to zero in on is carbohydrate, these are energy foods and so it is best to eat them when you body needs energy and if you recall this is in the early half of your day. Carbs eaten at this time are easily converted to energy and burned up.
Now let’s drift into the evening and take another look at these energy foods. When you eat carbs at night your body does not need to convert them to energy so it stores them as fat, have you ever heard of fat being referred to as stored energy? It is stored because your body did not need it at the time.
So if you are following this it is logic to finish eating carbohydrates by mid-afternoon and then keep them out of your diet and instead feed your body foods that will break down slower such as proteins, vegetables and good fats.
