What Are the Most Effective Chest Workouts?
Well it’s that time of year again and like so many men you are probably looking for a way to get in a little bit better shape. But what most men don’t realize is that getting in better shape doesn’t mean going for long runs or lifting tons of weight.
By doing little effective workouts you can get the same results, with half the effort and time commitment. Here are just a few workouts you can do real easily that will help you get that body you’re after.
1) Push Ups.
Push ups have been around for years and years and chances are they were probably the first workout you ever even heard about. Push ups are so great because there’s so many different types that you can do.
You can do the common push up, or you can do the one handed push up. Each different type of push up helps to increase the muscle in certain areas of your body. Doing the staggered push up can really help your inner chest.
2) Bench Press.
It is often said that the first group of people to ever do the bench press were the Spartans. The Spartans were a group of strong warriors who fought of armies that were twenty times the size of their own.
They understood that the quality of exercise was better than the quantity. According to old reports they would lift stone over their heads slowly just like we do with our weights when we do a bench press.
Amazing, isn’t it?
We have to realize, just like the Spartans, that it’s not the quantity of push ups or bench presses that we do it’s the quality. Instead of doing a hundred push ups focus on doing 10 very slowly and properly. You’ll be shocked by the difference in effectiveness.
